To capitalize on the interest shown by foreign companies in the Indian real estate sector, the MAK Group has floated an SPV – ‘Sunway MAK International’, which has entered into a Joint Venture with Sunway City Singapore, leading property developer, to deliver housing projects of international standard. The initiative will synergise the expertise of both the companies, and set industry benchmarks.

The first venture is a Residential Township in the high-rise zone near the Hyderabad International Airport and is expected to be completed in the next 5 years.

Another group company of the MAK Group, “MAK Hotels and Resorts”, has plans to build hotels and resorts in various locations across the country under its brand ‘Blue Lotus’. Currently developing 1000 rooms in Hyderabad, Chennai, Nagpur and Mysore, MAK Hotels has plans to build another 1000 rooms in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Vizag and Kolkata in the next 5 years.
